Meet Nicola Cardwell
Hi I'm Nicola; design consultant and project manager of all schemes at Nicola Cardwell Design.
I'm hugely passionate about the creation of beautiful soft furnishings and whilst my personal preference leans more to colour and pattern, I also appreciate the serenity and timelessness of a neutral scheme.
Having worked for 25 years in retail in customer facing roles, I am definitely a people person and strive to offer a friendly and professional service. Over the years I have worked hard to further my own knowledge and have been fortunate to know some great mentors along the way.
My experience in interiors is extensive and whilst this has mostly been in the domestic housing market, I've also schemed on contract jobs to include hotel function rooms, bridal suites and Queens University Grand Hall. Within retail roles I have sold tiles, carpets, furniture and decorative accessories giving me a broad product knowledge on all things interior.
As you can see from the project gallery there is no set style at Nicola Cardwell Design! I react to your individual homes and design accordingly. Whilst I am the creative lead of NCD I rely heavily on a fantastic support team of skilled sewers; upholsterers and fitters to ensure we deliver quality bespoke products. I'm happy to work to realistic budgets within this custom made market.
Over the past few years our homes have become more than just a place we live. With many people working from home more, it's more important than ever that our homes provide a sanctuary from the busyness of life and a place to make memories with our loved ones... My aim is to help you make them the best spaces they can be!
